Vini Nathan

Dr. Vini Nathan serves as Auburn University's Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs since May 2023. She previously served as Dean and McWhorter Chair of the College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC) from 2011-2022. She is a tenured professor of Architecture and Interior Architecture and a Senior Fellow of the Design Futures Council (named 2017 Senior Fellow). Dr. Nathan earned her doctoral degree in architecture from the University of Michigan in 1994. Prior to Auburn, she served as Dean and Professor in the School of Architecture at Thomas Jefferson University (formerly Philadelphia University). As an architect at Walker Group/CNI in New York, she collaborated with Cesar Pelli Associates on the Kuala Lumpur City Center (Petronas Towers). She received the Tau Sigma Delta silver medal in 2015 for her leadership in design education, is a professionally accredited architect in Mexico and Spain, and serves on the Board of Trustees at Saint Leo University.
