Biography
Randy Deutsch, FAIA, LEED AP, is an architect, educator, author, and international speaker. He was elevated to Fellowship in the American Institute of Architects (FAIA) and as a Senior Fellow of the Design Futures Council in 2020. A licensed architect responsible for the design of over 100 large, complex sustainable projects, he teaches Design Studio, Design and Construction Futures, and Building Construction at UIUC. Randy is the author of six books including Superusers: Design Technology Specialists and the Future of Practice (2019), Convergence: The Redesign of Design (2017), Data Driven Design and Construction (2015), BIM and Integrated Design (2011), Think Like An Architect (2020), and Adapt As An Architect (2021). He has led Executive Education programs at Harvard GSD and served on AIA Chicago Board as Director and Vice President.
