Biography
Dr. David Weinberger is a technologist, author, and philosopher who has spent decades examining how technology changes our most fundamental ideas about knowledge, organization, and possibility. A longtime affiliate of Harvard's Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society, he is the author of Everyday Chaos: Technology, Complexity, and How We're Thriving in a New World of Possibility, Too Big to Know, and Everything Is Miscellaneous, and co-author of the landmark Cluetrain Manifesto. He has served as a writer-in-residence embedded with machine learning research teams and holds a Ph.D. in philosophy. At the Summit, he opens Day One with the widest lens: what happens when the assumptions our institutions were built on stop holding.
