Biography
Anne Ellis is a recognized leader in the engineering and construction industry with a career spanning over four decades and six continents. A licensed professional engineer, she currently serves as CEO of Ellis Global and holds board positions with Somero Enterprises and Alpha Corporation. Ellis previously served as a senior business executive with a global Fortune 500 company, where she led enterprise-wide programs in innovation, sustainability, knowledge sharing, and government relations, as well as strategic initiatives in mergers and acquisitions and operational excellence. She has served on sixteen boards, eight advisory councils, and three venture projects, and currently serves as Past Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Institute of Building Sciences. A world-recognized authority in concrete, she co-authored the 'Concrete Design and Construction' section of the Standard Handbook for Civil Engineers. Ellis holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
